Zeke is an absolute sweetheart! He is about 2 years old, pit bull mix, up to date with shots,
heartworm negative, and will be neutered upon adoption. He has been at shelter for so long & needs to find a loving home ASAP!
This boy is VERY calm, gentle, & walks excellent on the leash!
He was found by animal control several weeks ago & nobody came looking for him. He has a gorgeus light brindle coat! If you can rescue or adopt Zeke...........

URGENT! PLEASE HELP LOOK FOR KIDNAPPED DOG LAST SEEN IN UNIVERSITY AREA OF CHARLOTTE , NC ! PLEASE HELP FIND "FRECKLES"!

This dog accidentally got out of the owner's home last weekend in the University Side of town Near Prosperity Church Road & Eastfield Road in Charlotte, NC, and was seen being put into a car a few blocks away by several young men…her collar and tags were found at the end of a street… Freckles is a special needs pet that already suffered a hard life before she was rescued…now, it is feared, she could be in the hands of people that are abusing her, and using her as a bait dog for dog-fighting… please, cross-post widely, and contact her owner (info below) AND Char-Meck Animal Control if you see a dog matching her description. This is a desperate situation, so please cross-post widely!

Please help me find our beautiful female dog named Freckles. She is a JRT/Rat Terrier/Whippet mix with one blue eye & one brown eye. She is white with reddish brown spots on her coat & she is wearing her red collar with her red heart shaped rabies tag. Her name is Freckles & she is a little timid of new people but will come to her name when called.

She is a rescue dog & we need help finding her~

I live in the University Side of town Near Prosperity Church Road & Eastfield Road. I have our neighborhood watch looking as well as they are going to send out a neighborhood email listing ehr description & name to help find her with a picture of her. We have 300 houses, so I am praying she chased a rabbit & someone nice picked her up to care for her.

I am attaching new pictures that we took of her this week. She has been doing really well, put on weight, walking nicer on her leash & only pee-d on me once this week in her nervousness to get to her leash to go outside. As many of you know, I have Sean, my special needs son, & as he was trying to come outside with my husband to go outside...freckles pushed thru & took off after a baby rabbit. She is very fast & unfortunately for us, she did not come back when we called her & searched for her in the woods, etc. I have contacted Animal Control after running into an Officer in the neighborhood, but he was there for pits. He had no calls for her & said to keep checking the website. I have also sent out a plea thru Craigslist & no response but it hasn't been posted but 2 hours or so. We waited outside last night for her until 11:30 pm & up again at 6:00 am to look for her. She ALWAYS comes back & I am really worried. Please post widely for her, she has had such a hard life & she is a bit skiddish, but she knows where she lives so please post & lets find her. She had a home visit this weekend to go be with another JRT male & that just kills me to know I have to call & say I lost her!!

I am so sorry, please help Freckles find her way home~
